Vegan Coconut Bacon without liquid smoke

Ingredients
- 125 g coconut large flakes
- 18 g soy sauce
- 18 g Maple Syrup
- 11 g apple cider vinegar
- 4 g smoked paprika
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300Fand line a baking sheet with silicone paper. Place coconut flakes in a large bowl.
- In a small bowl whisk together soy sauce, maple syrup, cider vinegar and paprika.
- Pour liquid mixture over coconut flakes and massage thoroughly.
- Spread coconut over baking sheet in a very thin layer.
- Bake for 12 - 15 minutes turning every 3 minutes. The coconut will turn a dark reddish brown colour and blacken at the edges.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool completely; the coconut will harden and crisp upon cooling.
- Store in the refrigerator in an air tight container 2 - 3 weeks.
